SJTL Social Clubs

Members of the SJTL parish serve each other through social groups as well as serving our good works.

St. James the Less "ROMEO"'s, (Retired Outstanding Men Eating Optimally) meet twice monthly at 11:25 am; currently the locations are 2nd Tuesdays at Randolph-Macon College, Estes Hall; & 4th Tuesdays at  Trackside, unless announced otherwise.  George Field & Jim Carson are coordinators as of 01/03/16.  THE ROMEO's CODE: "No Tell" Policy is in effect for meals eaten & spouses' info; and a good time is had by all. No complaining, obituaries, or medical conditions discussed; no political talk, and no inside secrets or local gossip allowed. Uplifting and enlightening topics only. You can lie to others, but never to a fellow ROMEO, unless it is required to be polite or evasive.  Newcomers who agree to the "Code" are welcome!

Based on the national group of the same name, the SJTL Red Hats gather once or twice a month for lunch at a variety of nearby locations.  All women of a certain age are welcome, and invited to participate.  If you are interested, please contact the church office.

Adventurers are a group of parishioners who get together once a month or so, later on a Friday afternoon, at the home of a group member for cocktails and lively discussion of current events or some other topic of interest to the group.  The location will be noted on the church calendar
